Our Compensation Isn't the Same With Every Provider โ Here's the Difference
We work with a small number of partner providers, and we're not paid the same way by each of them. Rather than imply otherwise, here's exactly how it works with each one.
Markup Model
MJB Care does not receive a commission or referral fee from VSC Clinic. Instead, MJB Care negotiates an agency price with VSC that is lower than VSC's own public price, then adds a margin on top โ that margin is how MJB Care profits from dental referrals. In most cases this brings the price you pay through MJB Care roughly in line with VSC's own direct price.
Booking through MJB Care can sometimes be cheaper than going direct. MJB Care can choose to reduce its own margin โ including as financial aid through our Care Fund โ to help more patients afford treatment. VSC Clinic, as the treatment provider itself, has fixed standards and costs to maintain and generally can't discount the same way we can. So MJB Care isn't automatically the more expensive route โ depending on your case, it can be the same price, or less.
Commission Model
Memorial Bahรงelievler Hospital pays MJB Care a 15% commission on the fixed treatment cost for patients MJB Care refers. MJB Care does not add anything on top of Memorial's price โ you pay the same price whether you book through MJB Care or go to Memorial directly. MJB Care's profit on hair transplant referrals to Memorial comes from that commission, not from you. MJB Care is not exclusive to Memorial and can coordinate treatment at a different hospital if that's a better fit for your situation.
This commission-only structure is Memorial's model for every facilitator it works with, not something negotiated specifically for MJB Care โ and it actually earns MJB Care a lower margin than a typical markup-based clinic partnership would. We work with Memorial because of its accreditation, standards, and quality of care for international patients, not because it's the most profitable option for us.
Paid From Our Own Margin
MJB Care runs a referral program where affiliates earn a commission for patients they refer. That commission is paid out of MJB Care's own earnings on the case โ described above โ not added as an extra cost to you, and not paid by the clinic or hospital.
Because these two models are genuinely different, we don't think it's honest to claim we're paid identically by every provider, or that compensation plays no role anywhere in how referrals happen. What we can tell you plainly: our aim is to match you with a provider suited to your case, we disclose how we're paid so you can weigh that for yourself, and you are always free to contact any provider โ including VSC Clinic or Memorial โ directly instead of through us.
You're Free to Choose Differently
You don't have to book through MJB Care. You're free to contact VSC Clinic or Memorial Bahรงelievler Hospital directly, or to research and choose a different provider entirely. MJB Care's value is in the research, comparison, coordination, and support we provide around your treatment โ not in being the only way to reach a provider.
